Large database containing multidisciplinary eBook titles representing a broad range of academic subject matter.
Open Library
This publicly available, open-access database contains ebooks and audiobooks for casual reading online. Contains the works of Ray Bradbury, Dean Koontz, Kate Chopin, Victor Hugo, and more. Make a free account (email and password) to read/listen to a book. Search by title or keyword, browse different genres and recommended lists, and track books you have read.
Project Gutenberg
A publicly available, open-access library with thousands of free eBooks. Includes books for academic and casual reading across a wide range of genres.
UC Press Luminos
A publicly available, open-access platform for the digital edition of scholarly monographs published through UC (University of California) Press. Supports color images and interactive media such as maps, audio and visual material.

Luminos is UC Press’ Open Access (OA) monograph publishing program.

Academic Search Complete
This database contains an extensive collection of peer-reviewed articles on a variety of subjects, including biology, chemistry, health sciences, humanities, health sciences, physics, and psychology. CNU login required. Key feature: Full-text finder.
Science Direct
This database contains articles, journals & book chapters focused on all things "science:" ecology, environmental science, chemistry, geology, genetics, medicine, molecular biology, physics, psychology, and more. CNU Login required. Key feature: All articles in this database are peer-reviewed.
JSTOR (OA)
Publicly available, open-access database with academic journal articles and book chapters from the 19th century to 3 years from the present. Covers topics in history and the social sciences. Please note: this is the "Open Access" section of JSTOR only, and does not include JSTOR content available with a subscription.
Project Muse (OA)
Publicly available, open-access database with full-text books and journals. Includes content on mainly the humanities and social sciences. Please note: this is the "Open Access" section of Project Muse, which is a larger database of open-access and subscription-only content.
Education Resources Information Center (ERIC)
ERIC stands for "Education Resources Information Center." Publicly available online database with content on educational research and information. Sponsored by the Institute of Educational Sciences and the US Department of Education.

Ad Access (Duke)
A publicly available digital collection of thousands of U.S. and Canadian advertisements covering five product categories - Beauty and Hygiene, Radio, Television, Transportation, and World War II propaganda - dated between 1911 and 1955.
