Process:

Ways you can get a book in the library:

  1. Check for the eBook version in our databases.
  2. Check our catalog for a print copy on the library shelves.
  3. Request the book for purchase.
  4. If you're looking to try out a new book for your course, request a desk copy.

Please make sure to check our existing collection

Instructors must complete their own desk copy requests.

Desk copy requests go directly to the book publisher. Once you know who the publisher is, search for the book within the "desk copy" section of that publisher's website. You'll find a list of publishers' websites below. It will likely be one of the listed publishing companies, but if not, please let us know!
